Vacuum flasks and food storage

Buying guide

A vacuum flask or travel mug keeps drinks hot thanks to a double vacuum wall – check how many hours it holds the temperature and whether the lid seals tightly. For food storage, a glass jar does not absorb smells and can be heated in the microwave, and an airtight lid keeps food fresh for longer. A school bottle should be light and easy to open, and a lunch box for work should be safe to heat in the microwave.
