Installing a camera takes more bits and pieces than the camera itself. A junction box keeps cable connections out of the rain, a corner or pole mount puts the camera in the right spot, and a power supply runs several analogue cameras at once. The mount has to suit the camera model – screw hole layouts differ between manufacturers. Connectors and adapters come in handy for linking old and new systems.
