A built-in oven, hob and hood become part of your furniture, so before choosing a model, measure the cabinet's inner width, depth and ventilation opening. The hood shouldn't be narrower than the hob, and without a duct it cleans the air with a charcoal filter. A fan oven bakes evenly on several shelves, while an induction hob heats the pan directly – it's fast, but only works with magnetic-based cookware.
