A robot vacuum works well at home if the floor is reasonably clear. The navigation type is decisive: a laser sensor maps the room and plans a route, while a basic model moves at random and sometimes misses spots. The battery should cover your flat's floor area in one cycle, otherwise it goes back to charge and can't finish the job. Some models also mop, but that mode shouldn't stay on over rugs.
