Games and creativity

Buying guide

A board game brings the family round one table – look at the number of players and how long a game lasts. Craft kits (jewellery, nail art, stickers) give a child the pleasure of making something with their own hands, and they make good presents. The rules should suit the child's age: short, simple games are best for little ones, strategy games for teenagers. A jigsaw puzzle trains attention and patience, while a craft kit feeds the imagination.
