Construction toys

Buying guide

Construction toys build a child's imagination, patience and spatial thinking. The age on the box reflects the size of the pieces and how hard the build is – chunky pieces suit little ones, detailed models suit older children. LEGO sets fit together, so a collection can keep growing for years. Think about what your child loves when you choose a set: cars, animals, a city or space – building around a favourite theme holds their attention for longer. A finished model can decorate their room, too.
